Grant funding often goes to projects that have the most coherent, compelling, and inspiring applications. Learn to create winning grant proposals with effective artist’s statements and descriptions that capture the power and passion of your project. Develop detailed budgets without fear.

Angela Richardson, Senior Trainer, The Grantsmanship Center, will be your guide, empowering you with tools to help your creativity soar. Participants will learn how to prepare effective proposals for project-based grants as well as the steps to take as you apply for various grant opportunities.

Learn how to:
  • Develop an artist statement
  • Prepare an audience profile
  • Create an effective proposal description
  • Develop a realistic and attainable proposal budget
  • Prepare the right work samples
Tuition Includes:
  • An immersive full day of lively, interactive training.
  • An e-notebook loaded witih resources, including PDFs of the PowerPoints, accessible for 6 months after training.
Schedule

Training includes two online sessions via Zoom on Saturday, August 13, 2022, from 10AM-noon and 2-4PM ET, with exercises between the online sessions.
