Designing Programs for Results leads participants through the process of:

- targeting realistic changes
- developing approaches to achieve those changes, and
- hammering out evaluation methods.

- Identify & assess community needs
- Document needs with relevant data
- Specify realistic, measurable changes that will result from the proposed program
- Connect the dots between the problem and the expected change
- Articulate an approach capable of producing the desired change
- Develop evaluation methods to assess achievement
