This training is customized for East West Center staff who have a variety of experience levels and work in a range of departments (i.e., Arts, Communication & External Relations, Education, Professional Development, Research, Seminars).
Participants will learn how to take advantage of diverse funding opportunities. The training will focus on proposal development for government funders (primarily U.S. but also foreign governments) with some additional attention on foundation funders, especially in the areas of arts, culture, and humanities.
Curriculum will also focus on monitoring and evaluation (M & E) relative to grants from those funders.
All participants have access to an e-notebook, specific to this class, available for 6 months following the training. The e-notebook contains extensive resources including PDFs of PowerPoints used in class as well as additional handouts.
